With 87 days left, we should be well on our way to accomplishing our goals. I have come up with a list of ideas/suggestions to help continue on the path to achievement.
#1: Face fear, step up the plate, and overcome your challenges. We become a better, stronger and more confident version of our self when we step in to the unknown and the uncomfortable area in our lives. Each person’s comfort zone is different. Focus on where YOU can go to build a BETTER YOU.
#2: Setting specific, small and measurable goals that lead to larger goals, will allow other positive changes to happen. While aiming for one of my goals, I noticed I was able to do something that I had never been able to do before, and THAT was not even on my LIST. BONUS!
#3: At the very moment where you have a choice to step in to the unknown and tackle a short but TOUGH task, do it right then! Don’t think about it. Don’t dwell on it. Just DO IT, NOW.
#4: Check in with your attitude. Is something negative associated with your goals? How can you make it positive? How can you change the goal around to make the journey more pleasurable and enjoyable?
#5: Realize that your goals are YOURS and YOURS for various reasons. People may support you, they may not. That’s okay. You are passionate about your goals for a reason and the priority is to stick with them because it’s what YOU want.
